Joulia Hernandez
Joulia is a Co-Owner, Instructor, and Competitive Team Director at Balance Dance
Joulia has been dancing for the past seventeen years, and danced competitively for eight years. As an advanced level competitive dancer she has won many awards for her stellar technique and dancing abilities. She has taken from many outstanding teachers/choreographers over the years, such as Mia Michaels, Cris Judd, Don Mirault, and Kristin McQuaid.
Joulia started student teaching/assisting at the ripe old age of thirteen, and has been an instructor since age eighteen. She has choreographed award wining solos and group dances for many events, such as pageants, plays, halftime performances, and school dance groups. In addition to her dance training, she also studied Theater Performance, and has performed in many plays and musicals.
Joulia has a passion for teaching and fostering a love of dance in each of her students. She strives to create a fun and uplifting environment for all to come and experience the art of dance

Alex Hernandez
Alex is a Co-Owner and Hip-Hop Instructor at Balance Dance.
Alex has been dancing for the past thirteen years and danced competitively for seven years. He has been recognized numerous times for his impressive Hip Hop skills and has even won multiple overall awards. Alex has been able to learn from many award-winning Hip-Hop teachers/choreographers, such as Jason page, and Barry Youngblood, who he has had the opportunity to work with multiple times.
Alex has been teaching dance since the age of 16 and gives his students a newfound excitement for this upbeat style of dance.
Alex has been dancing for the past thirteen years and danced competitively for seven years. Stephanie Cagle
Stephanie is the Preschool Program Director and Event Coordinator at Balance Dance.
Stephanie has a love for dance and working with children. She began dancing formally at the age of 7 years old, and she has been an educator for the past 11 years. She truly enjoys watching her students confidence and happiness grow throughout their classes.
When she is not at school or at the studio, Stephanie loves spending time with her family, creating balloon garlands, crafting, and tap dancing. You can often find her wearing a tutu or bright colored bow during her classes!
She is so excited to watch your preschooler learn and develop their skills at our studio!

Savannah Mosher
Savannah is our Office Manager and an Assistant/Co Instructor at Balance Dance.
Savannah has worked in customer service and support arenas in her community for the past 7 years. She enjoys teaching children and seeing them develop amazing skills!
She has enjoyed her years on the competitive dance team at Balance Dance and her time working there as well. She is also continuing her education in college with her academic focus being computer science.
Savannah is gifted in working with youth and loves working with the team at Balance Dance. She loves seeing all of the amazing students find themselves in dance, and lose themselves in it at the same time!

Hollie Haire
Hollie is a Tumble/Acro Instructor at Balance Dance.
Hollie has been a part of the world of Gymnastics since the age of five. She started competitive Gymnastics at age eight, and has enjoyed many years as both a competitive athlete and coach.
Hollie has a love for teaching and coaching children to work hard and be the best they can be!

Emma Rogers
Emma is a Tumble/Acro Instructor and Customer Care Champion at Balance Dance.
Emma has been in Gymnastics and Cheerleading for 15 years. She started going to Gymnastics when she was just 3 years old. Cheerleading is her passion and she cheered on the high school team! Emma is also a certified teacher in Acrobatic Arts!
Emma is currently a preschool teacher and enjoys encouraging children of all ages to be the best they can be! Emma is so excited to be a mentor for her students and cannot wait to watch them achieve their goals at Balance Dance Studio!
Emma has been in Gymnastics and Cheerleading for 15 years. She started going to Gymnastics when she was just 3 years old. Cheerleading is her passion and she cheered on the high school team! Emma is also a certified teacher in Acrobatic Arts!

Ashton Franquiz
Ashton is the Club Program Ballet and Tap instructor at Balance Dance.
Ashton just graduated as a Theater Performance Major from the U of A. She transferred from Oklahoma City University where she was a Dance major.
Ashton has been dancing for 16 years. She began primarily as a classically trained ballerina and attended Joffrey NYC and many other intensives for summer training throughout her dance career. She began competitively dancing in high school in styles such as Jazz and hip hop. She was a Captain for her high school drill team and choreographed the shows for the choir and theater department as well.
Ashton would classify herself as a performer rather than a dancer. Though it was her focus she slowly began finding a passion for musical theater and found herself as leads, ensemble, and choreographer for many musicals her senior year of high school.
Ashton found her passion for teaching through all of this. She strives for a fun and welcoming environment for anyone who wants to learn to dance. She is excited to join this team and hopes to grow as a teacher so she is able to pour into these students so they can be successful in all they hope to achieve.

Emmaline Hutchcraft
Emmaline is a Future Stars Assistant Teacher
I have been involved with childcare since mid-2019 (11 years old) with my moms daycare service and volunteering at my church! I love watching my students grow and develop into the wonderful kids they are! I also love having bunches of fun with the kids!

Aidan Hernandez
Club Program Intructor at Balance Dance
Aidan Hernandez is a 16 year old dancer who has been dancing since she was 3. She has been in numerous award winning solo and group dances. She even took home first place for her solo in 2022.
She likes instructing and creating routines for people of all ages and dance forms. Her favorite experience is seeing a young dancer master a new skill and deliver it confidently on stage. Every dance genre is something Aidan is skilled in, and she loves to teach it to every individual who wants to learn it.
